Thank you to everyone who contributed to the huge success of the 3rd Annual Michael Tarney Fun Run/Walk for Arthritis in 2006. The turnout was amazing and the overwhelming community and corporate support was very encouraging for all.

The 2006 Run/Walk exceeded all goals and expectations. Through the generous support of individual and corporate sponsors, the event raised over $40,000 to help find a cure for arthritis. Almost 300 individuals joined the fun by either walking or running on a beautiful Saturday morning through Lake Park.

Planning is already well underway for this year’s event scheduled for Saturday, September 8, 2007 at Milwaukee’s Lake Park. Please mark your calendars and save the date.

This year’s event will feature a silent auction, a kid’s area, goodie bags for all pre-registered participants, on-site massage and entertainment. We are extremely excited to announce the launch of our dog walk, sponsored by Central Bark Doggy Day Care. Please spread the word about our event and invite your friends and family to join us.

I am personally asking you to join me on Saturday, September 8th to support a disease faced by over 45 million Americans. Sign up and bring your family, friends, co-workers and neighbors (and dogs) with you to participate, socialize and help raise funds to find a cure for arthritis.
